“Eyforia” or “Euphoria (International title)” is the first movie from talented Russian director “Ivan Vyrypayev”. The movie has a simple and straight forward plot line. A familiar story that has been told tens of times, a story about Love, marriage, infidelity and revenge. The way Vyrypayev translates this story into a film is unique though. Rich usage of colors and extraordinary choice of locations, in rural north Russia, make a colorful and symbolically poetic movie with beautiful music accompanying it. Several well decorated shots indicate the tendency of the director towards photography, which makes the movie enjoyable to watch, more like a photo gallery.
